The PSI Press Lock Dryglove System was developed in Canada by divers, for divers, with more than 35 years of industry experience and input from leading professionals across the diving industry. After more than 2.5 years of research and development, the objective was to create a dryglove system that solved many of the common issues divers experience with traditional ring systems — specifically ease of installation, reliable sealing, simplified glove replacement, and dependable performance in harsh cold-water environments.
Manufactured from lightweight yet extremely durable anodized aluminum, the PSI Press Lock system is one of the smallest-profile dryglove systems available while remaining exceptionally rugged. Its compact design minimizes wrist bulk without compromising strength, making it suitable for recreational, technical, commercial, and military/special forces diving applications.
The system utilizes an intuitive bayonet-style locking mechanism similar to mounting a camera lens. Clearly visible coloured alignment dots on the glove and sleeve rings allow the diver to align, twist, and securely lock the gloves into place with approximately a quarter turn. Removal is equally straightforward — simply align the markings and gently separate the rings. The glove-to-suit sealing interface uses a specially engineered o-ring design that provides an extremely reliable watertight seal with minimal installation effort.
The PSI Press Lock system is specifically designed to work with the Si-Tech PU ring system, including the Si-Tech QCP Round / Quick Cuff platform commonly installed on many modern drysuits. Compatibility requires the Si-Tech PU Ring (Part #60420) to already be installed on the drysuit sleeves. The system can also be retrofitted directly onto existing compatible Si-Tech PU ring setups. It includes retaining rings designed specifically for use with thicker drygloves.
