Who should take this course?

Providing emergency first response care is straightforward, easy to learn, and could potentially save lives. There are so many good reasons to empower yourself, your friends, and family with this important life skill.

This is a one day, non-diving program so everyone is welcome.

Do you have a group that wants to become trained in Emergency First Response? Perhaps at your office? We can do that too! With a minimum of 4 participants we can come to your home, office, club or wherever and run this program. Call Dive World at 416-503-3483 to book a group course.

What will you learn?

Emergency First Response Primary Care or CPR teaches you how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. This part of the course consists of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to help you gain the confidence to help if you encounter emergency situations.

Emergency First Response Secondary Care or First Aid covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. During this part of the course, you’ll learn about secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice.
