What it’s all about
Mastering Trim, Buoyancy, and Underwater Control: The PPB Course
Our PPB course is designed to elevate your diving proficiency by refining the fundamentals that truly matter: trim, positioning, buoyancy control, and finning techniques. Divers will develop efficient propulsion methods that minimize environmental impact while enhancing control and movement underwater. The course also covers equipment streamlining, situational awareness, and critical emergency protocols.
At the heart of this training is an innovative approach to achieving stability in the water column—helping you build a reliable and steady platform from which to operate. No matter what your diving goals are, this course provides a strong foundation that will serve you throughout your diving journey.
We’re deeply passionate about this class because we’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be. It not only builds better divers—it empowers confident, capable teammates underwater.
A core element of the course includes exercises to sharpen underwater posture and core stability, such as finless hovering and propulsion drills. While fins are essential, they can mask weaknesses in technique and equipment configuration. Training without them reveals inefficiencies and encourages full-body engagement, particularly of the core, to maintain position and neutral buoyancy. This results in enhanced control, improved trim, and a greater ability to focus on your environment and team safety.
Join us and take your diving to the next level—with the skills, awareness, and control to thrive in any underwater setting.
